Energy Technologies, Inc. Unveils New “Ultimate Power Source™” 1U High UPS Series
A Backup Power Protection Solution Ideal for Point of Use Applications Along With N+1 Configurations
February 11, 2014: Energy Technologies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of power quality solutions, announces the release of the “Ultimate Power Source” UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Series; the industry’s most powerful 1U high UPS. This 1U UPS produces a full 2000 Watts continuously at temperatures from -20° to +60° C. In addition, the unit is able to with stand a 150% overload for 5 seconds, and a continuous 110% overload without degradation.
This Ultimate Power Source UPS is equipped with Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries that provide the lowest weight, maximum backup performance and safest operation. These batteries provide 13 minutes of backup at 2000 Watts or 26 minutes with a 1000 Watt load.
The compact design of the Ultimate Power Source UPS makes it ideal for applications where a small footprint and large power demands are required in applications with limited rack space.
Several options are available to support custom applications such as multiple input and output configurations, intelligent interfaces and unit load management. The UPS can be configured for single-phase or 3-phase configurations, field swappable N+1 applications and can be paralleled with up to 32 units.
Ultimate Power Source UPS comes standard with firmware, which monitors the UPS performance, battery status and provides the user with data that can be utilized for battery replacement.
